Allison Jackson joined the firm in 2008 in an "of counsel" role. She practices general civil litigation, concentrating in the areas of employment law, commercial and contractual disputes, and education law. Prior to joining the firm, Allison practiced law for three years in Macon, Georgia at a general civil litigation firm.
Allison attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, which awarded her the Jesse Mercer full tuition and stipend scholarship. While in law school, she was a member of the Mercer Law Review and the Brainerd Currie Honor Society and interned with Judge Duross Fitzpatrick, U.S. District Court, Macon, Georgia. In May of 2004, Allison graduated in the top 10% of her class. During her time in Macon, Allison volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the English Language Institute and helped coach a high school mock trial team.
Allison also attended Mercer University for her undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, graduating magna cum laude.
Allison recently devoted a year to mission service, volunteering full time with Preston Taylor Ministries which serves students in the Preston Taylor public housing community of Nashville, TN. She is excited to return to the field of law and to be closer to her family, who reside in nearby Calhoun, Ga. Allison lives in Chattanooga. |
